pain. defined by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) as “an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage, or described in terms of such damage”.

pain. often linked to suffering. an unpleasant experience. an aversion associated with harm. may be physical. may be mental.

pain. you experience it, you get a boo-boo. you get hurt.

pain, in the physical aspect, can be healed by medicine and it can and will heal eventually and all that could be left is a scar. a remembrance of that boo-boo you once had. a proof that you have committed a mistake. that somehow in your crazy ways, you've hurt yourself. but if you're lucky enough, you won't get a scar. you simply heal. period.

pain. mental suffering. a broken heart caused by a tragic love affair for example. no surgery could ever repair that. medicine could only calm you down. that's the only good thing you'll get from it. but only time can tell when you would heal. only time can tell when you'll get over the hurt you experience.

pain. the wound, whether physical or mental, could only (totally) heal through time.... so does it mean that when we get hurt, we could just let time do its magic?

people dream. people could get hurt trying to fulfill that dream. they savor every pain they experience so that when they get hold of that dream, they would be proud. the pain would go away. they would heal. but what if pain is caused by a broken dream? how do you heal from a broken dream? what if you've gotten used to holding on to that dream? what do you do when that dream is broken? would time be able to work its magic this time?

i was employed a couple of months ago.. and was forced to resign due to health conditions. couldn't handle the stress that work and school was giving me.. so i had to give up one of them.. hah. kinda sucks not having yer own money.. specially when you've gotten used to being able to buy whatever you want.. but then you get the hang of it.. and just learn to deal with it.. :P
